We are partnering with local California artists, like Santa Cruz-based musician Aliza Hava, LA-based Film Producer / Director David Gaz, producer of Kindness is Contagious and the national project, Posts for Peace and Justice. You can collaborate with us, participating in Compassionate In Action through the arts!
The arts have always had the power to connect us to one another. Today, we have both greater urgency and greater opportunity to connect people, to work together to imagine and to build a global compassionate world. Compassionate California is doing this along with the Charter for Compassion International, and Compassion In Action outreach activities with artists, community leaders, compassionate police, Black Lives Matter, Migrant Youth, and mentors.
We include many art forms and encourage others to join us on
Facebook and in our outreach efforts. One important new partner is the Posts for Peace and Justice Project including collaborative discussions on non violence, race, gender, environmental and other issues in art workshops.and exhibitions.
Together with the Charter, we are interested in how the arts can become a language that can reach across cultures to connect us. The work of artists encourages us to see different realities, to understand, and to empathize with one another.
